Deep Tissue Massage

fala2

Deep Tissue Massage, or Myofascial Release, is a method through which the physiological muscel tonus of the muscles and fascia can be restored. Due to chronic tension and sprains the tissue sticks together, grows together, stiffens and rigidifies causing pain. The adhesions and knots occur in the fascia, muscle tissue, ligaments, and tendons and cause pain, circulatory disturbances, limited mobility, and inflammation.

Deep tissue massage uses special techniques which are, comparing with classical massage techniques, much deeper and slowerto help release stretch and relax knots and tissue that has grown together..

During therapy, the practitioner searches for the thickening of connective tissue. Due to precise manipulation and slow, deliberate strokes is the pressure is focused on the layers of fascia, muscles, or tendons deep under the skin impacting the whole body.

The massage therapist uses slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons, or other tissues deep under your skin.
